Catherine Wells is the author of Mother Grimm (Roc Books, 1997), which was a nominee for the 1997 Philip K. Dick Award. Her previous books include The Earth Trilogy: The Earth Is All That Lasts, Children of the Earth, and The Earth Saver. Her next book, Beyond the Gates, is due out in June 1999. Ms. Wells lives in Tucson, AZ, with her husband and two daughters, a dalmatian, and a cat that refuses to die.
