Gerrold, David

He created the Tribbles for the original Star Trek series and assisted in the development of The Next Generation, besides being the popular science fiction writer of the War Against the Chtorr series, The Voyage of the Star Wolf, and When Harlie Was One.  He is an established film and television writer and active supporter of AIDS Project Los Angeles.
