John Hertz is probably best known for infecting fandom with English Regency Dancing. He makes a cameo appearance in Larry Niven's N-Space; he also reads Dorothy Dunnett and Vladimir Nabokov. He is said to be good at panels. He belongs to ASFA, and has been in APA-L for thirty years. Recently he has been circulating his weekly zine Vanamonde.
